An Art Gallery Reserved Exclusively For Children
I am pleased to announce my participation to the exhibition My first art gallery Québecor!
Following the success of previous editions, the Mtl en Arts festival will present for the 8th year its gallery reserved for children under 13 years!
The gallery will be open from Wednesday, June 26 to Monday, July 1, 2019 as part of the Mtl en Arts Festival, on St. Catherine Street.
The main objective is to introduce children to collect art, to judge for themselves the quality of works and to vote for their favourite, without being influenced by their parents.
In doing so, the organization wishes to contribute to the development of a young public initiated: amateurs able to receive, perceive and appreciate the various proposals of artists but also to respond to them and take note of the process of buying an artwork.
A Professional Exhibition Accessible to Children
Thus, My first art gallery Québecor gives them access to an exhibition of professional artists, created solely for them: a gallery of art to their measure.
Children will be able to choose and afford [their first] quality works of art for a nominal price of $20.
Specially Framed Artworks on Paper
I will present for the occasion two small oils on paper, namely: L’abîme and L’abysse.
Specially framed, these pieces are also equipped with stands, allowing to put them on a piece of furniture, or on a bedside table.
